Els Pescadors is a classic among the restaurants in Cadaqués.
Located in front line, in Riba d'en Nemesi Llorens, it was transferred and we were commissioned a makeover without major works.
The restaurant consists of two buildings, a small two-storey fisherman's house and the first floor of the adjoining building, part of it uncovered. Most of the year, a platform is set up to form a large terrace that connects the two buildings.
We decided, as we did in the Set bar, to recover elements of the popular architecture by repainting walls and recovering the dry stone walls to paint them and thus give more light to the premises.
The spaces were redesigned with elements of carpentry, furniture, textiles, kitchenware and we worked on the lighting, both its location and models of luminaires.
The objective was to give an image of Cadaqués, bright, fresh, colorful and welcoming. We worked on the same discourse in all the spaces, differentiating the interior from the exterior and the different rooms with the materials used.
